This includes center aisle and exit cashiering, backroom support, and HR operational activities. The Assistant Store Coach, Operations is also accountable for managing facilities, payroll and expenses. The Assistant Store Coach, Operations directly manages a small team of lead hourly associates, who in turn supervise front-line hourly associates.QualificationsProactively lead the Operations department to ensure achievement of business goals in expenses, payroll, inventory shrinkage, customer satisfaction, and associate morale.· Select, coach, and develop strong and effective lead associates. Develop a diverse, high performing team. Take action as needed to ensure that all associates fully contribute to the store efforts.· Actively manage the customer experience at center aisle and exit cashwraps.· Take ownership for full implementation of corporate programs and initiatives on expense management, productivity, and associate morale. This includes adherence to operational and selling processes (e.g., shipping and receiving, replenishment, Credit "May I" program, installation) and ensuring performance standards are met.· Manage HR transactional processes in staffing, onboarding, and training; and assist in action plans to improve performance.· Ensure consistency of operational processes within the store. · Plan and manage storewide expenses.· Ensure that the store adheres to safety policies and procedures.· Manage shipping and receiving, merchandise staging, return to vendor, preventative maintenance, and merchandise pickup.· Manage stockroom and offsite storage.· Manage floor model assembly.· Manage delivery (in self-delivery stores).· Manage online fulfillment.· Manage associate onboarding.· Maintain facilities and housekeeping. · Assist in handling and resolving escalated customer issues.· Understand and communicate, to Store and District staff, competitive activities/trends in market, and unique local market issues.· Ensure that the store operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.Requirements:· Minimum of 3 years of experience with retail stores preferred.· Supervisory experience, preferably in retail or service environments.· Strong preference given to candidates with at least a Bachelor's degree.BenefitsAs a Sears professional, your career path options will be determined by your performance as well as your desire to advance further within the Sears organization.
