The Assistant Store Coach, Sales Support role is focused on enhancing the experience of our customers and driving sales through:- Executing the merchandise and sales floor presentation standards- Maintaining price and inventory integrity- Completing event/seasonal set-ups, department flex set-ups and creating promotional dominance- Directly responsible for leading a team in fulfilling their respective roles in providing a world class customer experience- Responsible for contributing to the overall financial performance of the store, expense management, payroll management and profitability goals- Drives appropriate behaviors in all store staff that result in customer satisfaction and performance results- Responsible for identifying local customer market demands and working with the store and district teams to make adjustments to assortments and merchandising strategies to meet local customer needs- Plans and executes merchandise and visual presentation standards- Ensures the sales floor is Ready All Day- Facilitates the flow of merchandise to the sales floorQualificationsThe Assistant Store Coach, Sales Support is responsible to coach, lead and guide a team to maximize sales and profits by providing excellent merchandise presentation (planning and executing the MSP), ensuring accurate pricing and signing of all merchandise and superior in-stock condition. All Assistant Store Coaches are responsible to work jointly with fellow Assistant Store Coaches to drive great customer service and profitable revenue growth by supporting store initiatives and being a role model Customer Service Manager. Stores vary greatly, and the challenges in an Assistant Store Coach assignment will vary greatly by store size, location, local market, etc.- Four-year bachelor s degree preferred- Minimum of one-to-three years of merchandising accountability in retail stores- Management experience, preferably in a multi-line, large department retail environment- Financial literacyBenefitsAs a Sears professional, your career path options will be determined by your performance as well as your desire to advance further within the Sears organization.
