Assistant Store Manager/Woodbridge, NJAssistant Store Manager Accountability ObjectivesThe Assistant Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the store via execution of plans established in conjunction with the Store Manager.  The Assistant Store Manager will give effective guidance and direction to store personnel in the areas of guest service, inventory, cash control, personnel, loss prevention, safety, expense control and especially, merchandising so that the store operates as efficiently and profitably as possible. Nature and Scope of PositionThis position reports to the Store Manager and is expected to maintain open lines of communication with the Store Manager and all subordinate personnel, to ensure a steady flow of information and proper execution of tasks is achieved.   The main goal of this position is to develop and maintain a highly productive staff, thereby ensuring a well-stocked, efficient, clean and safe store to serve our guests.  He/she must maintain an appropriate balance between achievement of business objectives and effective human relations to ensure the continued fiscal success of the company, as well as the satisfaction of its guests and associates.  The Assistant Store Manager serves as a key role model on issues of guest service and managerial skills. Most important, however, is the ability to develop and motivate a broad range of subordinates to perform at high levels and to execute plans in a highly unstructured and rapidly changing environment. Requirements: 4 Year College Degree preferred Demonstrated strengths in targeted competencies Should have the potential to be a Store Manager Strong sales and service skills  To apply, please send your resume to londoner@aol.com
