As our Assistant Store Manager, you'll assist the Store Manager in leading our store team to achieve sales and profitability goals through effective business planning. You'll manage controllables, provide operational excellence and oversee the store's financial performance, including daily sales and key performance indicators such as conversion rate, units per transaction and sales per transaction. You'll also provide coaching to your direct reports on the floor and execute our commitment to merchandising in order to meet performance expectations and standards. In addition, you'll participate in the retail business process, meet key deadlines, contribute to weekly manager meetings and work cross-functionally with key store and retail partners while coaching and developing your team. Requirements for this position include: - Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field - 2 years' retail or service management experience, including experience coaching, counseling and developing people - 2 years' retail operations experience, including product knowledge, merchandise flow processes, human resources, loss prevention systems, facility maintenance and retail math - 2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree - Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook - Strong selling techniques and experience delivering high-level customer service - Ability to perform all store manager functions, including standing for extended periods, speaking clearly with employees and customers, climbing ladders to change displays, stocking and retrieving merchandise, unloading shipments and performing sale setups Of course our commitments don't stop with our customers.
