Assistant Supervisor of Retail Sales

ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR OF RETAIL SALES

 

To assist the Supervisor of Retail Sales in the daily operation of a convenience store/gas station retail operation.  40 hrs. weekly, nights and weekends a must.

 

ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS

 Schedule staff

 Manage inventory

 Manage register banks

 Provide sales guidance to staff

 Prepare daily deposit

 Prepare charge account records

 Update inventory information and pricing

 Ensure cleanliness of building and parking lot

 Ensure communication with corporate end staff

 

SECONDARY ELEMENTS

 Ensure compliance with permit standards

 Ensure compliance to DEP regulations

 Ensure good relationships with neighbors

 Project future sales/expenses

 Project future staffing needs

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 Minimum of four year high school in addition to a minimum of 1-3 years experience. 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 Work entails long periods of time standing
