Babies R Us is now hiring a Local Marketing Specialist for our Denver store! Apply Online Today at www.ruscareers.com  We’re looking for candidates who are passionate about excellence, achievement and results in the following areas:  Local Marketing Specialist Position Purpose:The Local Marketing Specialist will drive sales and guest counts of the designated market and build Babies“R”Us brand awareness and loyalty throughout the local market. Position Responsibilities:· Develop and implement a local marketing strategy to increase sales, guest counts and registry creates while building brand awareness and loyalty in 3-4 designated storeso  Work closely with the District Marketing Manager, District Manager, Store Managers and Selling Assistant Managers to develop a local marketing strategy for the multiple store marketo  Partner with the District Marketing Manager to ensure the strategy meets objectives and includes national and district marketing initiatives· Work with the Store Managers (SM) on all marketing initiatives and gain support from the SMs to continue support from the Store Teams. · Execute National, District and Local Marketing plans and events· Execute or Assist in Grand Opening Events as needed· Public Relationso  Work with the media on an as needed basiso  Media spokesperson· Work with Store Management to ensure that store promotions are executed· Build and maintain relationships within the community (i.e. Hospitals, Physicians and Media)· Responsible for reporting progress and success to the District Marketing Manager· Understanding of return on investment for budgetary purposes· Annual review of marketing efforts Qualifications:  Prior advertising/marketing education or experience necessary Ability to travel to designated stores Strong leadership, communication, motivation and time management skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently and with many levels of management Ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities Ability to network and form community ties Ability to work in a diverse environment Knowledge preferred in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation requiredHours Per Week: Varies Wage: To be discussed Days Required To Work: Varies Benefits Other : The benefits you will enjoy include: ·  Optional Medical Dental Insurance (contributions are pre-tax) ·  401(k) Savings Plan (with company match) ·  Associate Discount (on most merchandise at Toys “R” Us & Babies “R” Us) ·  A FUN Work Environment (that inspires you to learn and advance) ·  Comprehensive Training Programs (and much, much more!)Babies “R” Us is one of the premier baby product retailers — the largest baby product specialty store chain in the world and a leader in the juvenile industry.
