Brand Manager, Assistant

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the execution of annual marketing plans, as well as ongoing management of marketing communications ensuring alignment with BJ's Marketing initiatives.  Also responsible for executing marketing programs including tactics, goals, budgets and reconciliations of results.  Communicate with various departments in Marketing, Sales Operations, Club Operations and Merchandising as appropriate regarding programs, goals and objectives.  Additionally responsible for other marketing campaigns including frequency, retention, credit card and vendor initiatives.  Perform additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years experience is necessary in marketing and/or an advertising agency environment.  Strong strategic, project management and communication abilities are required.  Excellent attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.  Retail industry experience is a plus.  Knowledge of merchandising, store operations guidelines and objectives, media policies and advertising legalities is preferred.  Strong Microsoft Office skills are required, especially Excel.  Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications is desired.
