Business Analyst - Toysrus.comJob Summary: The Shipping Analyst is responsible for using all available data sources to balance shipping revenue strategy (impacting demand) with an understanding of true cost for each item and/or basket (order).  Facilitate a process to find solutions and drive decisions.  Perform cost benefit analysis and give visibility to key measures and supply chain health. ·  Weekly reporting (to be created) so that business has a weekly dashboard on shipping pricing and costs ·  Ad-hoc analysis to support profitability analyses (revenue side and cost side) Developing shipping economics analyses (profit/loss segmentation) and management processes to support budget development, actual performance, market competitiveness and daily operations/continuous improvementfor .com outbound shipping P&L  Meet Ship P&L budget goals.  ·  Manages databases or data sources (internal or via external partners) in order to conduct analyses. ·  Ability to understand end-to-end process (operational costs that are fulfillment and transportation related as well as revenue pricing strategy from a customer and profitability perspective)  ·  This includes partnering with the .com buying team on market basket pricing strategy, identifying/implementing systemic margin management tools, developing internal checks and balances for item set-up etc…   · Strong communication skills· Strong Access Skills and Excel Skills· Strong Analytic ability· Good Power point· Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in operational management or business related field preferred or equivalent work experience, M.B.A. preferred· Comfortable with customer facing marketing/pricing strategies· Comfortable with distribution network and strategies Experience in a Financial Analyst role preferred.
