Buyer - Jewelry

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the procurement of Jewelry and additional departmental items by reviewing vendor products, performing cost analysis, competitive retail strategy and conducting vendor negotiations.  Responsibilities will also include developing sales and profit margin plans, maintaining margin, and meeting turnover goals.  Will also perform other duties and/or responsibilities.

Requirements:

A minimum of 1-3 years Category and/or buying experience is required.  Additionally, BJ's planogram and logistics knowledge and experience is also essential.  Strong attention to detail along with excellent negotiation abilities and interpersonal skills are also required.  Must have prior experience with budgeting, planning and managing related financials.  Travel will also be required.
