Buyer Pharmacy

Our client, a Midwest based Regional Retail Chain, is currently seeking a Pharmacy Buyer.   Candidates for this position should possess experience in vendor negotiations, industry analysis and forecasting, allocation, controlling OTB and margins, along with experience purchasing generic medication.  This buyer will be responsible for regulatory compliance, both state and federal, electronic narcotic ordering, and financial performance of the prescription area. The Company provides a complete line of benefits, the ability to earn incentive compensation and relocation assistance.  Job Qualifications: · Registered Pharmacist· Experience with pharmacy regulations and organizations· Previous pharmacy purchasing and contracting experience· Strong negotiation skills· Effective organizational and interpersonal skills This position will be based in Michigan   MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
