CAD Technician

The CAD Technician is responsible for the preparation and development of floor plans, which will include space planning, fixture, equipment and merchandise schemes.Qualifications*MUST have retail CAD experience.*Produce in-house drawings for new store main sales merchandise, fixture and electrical plans, support area fixture, equipment and electrical plans, pick-up and yard merchandise, fixture and electrical plans, electrical details and racking elevations, accent and non-skid tile plans, cloud and paint sign plan, chalk and specialty fixture plan for the store set-up crew.*Prepare drawing for remodels to existing store fixturing, cabinetry and racking.*Maintain existing stores in-house plans including square footages and section counts.*Interpret construction documents relative to the development of the fixture plan.*Travel to jobsites and survey existing conditions at new store construction and travel to existing stores to survey conditions for remodels to the store.*Coordination with project managers, architects, engineers, vendors, merchandising and operations.Job Qualifications:High school minimum, AA degree preferred, or equivalentAt least four years experience using AutoCAD 2000 or higher, as well as knowledge in AutoCAD supplementary programs to include Architectural Desktop.Knowledgeable in AutoCAD supplementary programs Knowledge of windows operation systems, networking techniques, word processing, Photoshop, PowerPoint, word and Excel.Knowledge of basic internet and e-mail methodsBenefitsIn addition to an outstanding career potential we offer a competitive compensation and benefit package including health, dental, matching 401(k) and employee discount.
