CAMPAIGN COORDINATOR
JOB SUMMARY: Planning, collection, qualitative review, data entry, and follow up of all promotional deals [newspaper inserts, direct mailers, internet emails, in-store handouts, postcards] into the Campaign system, used to systemically roll out promotions to all Toys R Us and Babies R Us stores. Activities include the auditing of all advertised and unadvertised deals and the collaboration with the advertising, marketing, visual, communications, and purchasing teams to ensure smooth in-store execution takes place. Provide store support for any promotions that do not ring properly at the registers, which includes research and collaboration with the merchant team and IT. Responsible for the data entry of promotional information into the Campaign system, with the objective of ensuring accurate execution of all ad event promotions at store level. Create and maintain communication to supervisor [describing details] on all Campaign promotions and status of the promotions for assigned ad events. Review and approve all stages of advertising proof layouts to ensure the accuracy of the information being advertised. Follow up with Buyer Assistants, Advertising/Marketing coordinators, and Visual coordinators to ensure any errors have been corrected prior to press date. Support stores and the Help Desk department by solving any promotional issues in all divisions. [BRU & TRU] Coordinate and execute all pre-sell templates between purchasing, communications, and stores. Produce and test coupon codes for vendor events. Ability to view advertising promotions from a store/guest perspective and translate changes to Buyers/Marketing. Maintain accurate records to complete Buyer and support ticket issues reports monthly. Work with the QA Coordinator to set up and test new deals prior to rollout to the stores. Coordinate meetings to resolve issues on projects with appropriate personnel. Daily creation and updating of the Master Deal and Signage List [MDSL] vehicle used to communicate all signage for upcoming promotions to stores. Bachelors degree preferred [Business Administration or related field] A minimum of 5 years of related experience in positions with increasing responsibility 2 years retail experience preferred Well organized and disciplined with a strong grasp of detail and ability to plan, measure, and execute complex business processes Provide for continuing improvement of the planning process through partnering and education Able to work with multiple projects and deadlines [multi-tasking] Strong communication skills, effectively working with people at all levels of the organization [Buyers, Directors, Advertising/Merchant Management] High energy level and strong work ethic Ability to work flexible hours, including weekend coverage twice per month Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines and limited supervision Ability to work effectively with and positively with other departments who have diverse backgrounds and personalities Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent leadership, communication [written and verbal], and customer [internal and external] relation skills Extremely organized and detail oriented
