CDL Truck Driver

Position Description: CDL Truck Drivers (CCP)

Our Carter Component Plant (CCP) Drivers are responsible for transporting roof & floor trusses, wall panels and engineered wood products to Carter Lumber stores and our customer’s jobsites.  We currently have a full-time opening for CDL truck drivers at our Component facility in Newton Falls, OH.  No overnight travel is required for this position.

Being part of the Carter Lumber team means that you will:

· Be focused on meeting or exceeding delivery schedules and efficient service while at delivery sites

· Represent CCP, its products, and services in a professional manner

· Follow Federal Government regulations that pertain to CDL drivers

· Work closely with the management of CCP to address any immediate concerns and review suggestions or new ideas

 

Requirements to join the Carter Lumber team:

· Previous over-the-road driving experience

· Must have a valid CDL, class A license

· Pass DOT physical

· Pass a pre-employment drug test

· Clean driving record

· Familiar with Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations

· Must possess good communication skills

· Applicant should live within a 50 mile radius of the Carter Component Plant
