Unified Grocers (Unified) is the largest retailer-owned wholesale grocery cooperative in the western United States. Our talented team of approximately 3,500 employees provides the products and services grocery stores need to successfully compete in todayWorking in a demanding, fast paced environment this position will provide core support to select Category Managers and Buyers associated with our GM/HBC program and will serve as a critical commodity interface between Seattle, Portland and California division personnel. This position will be actively involved in the development and launch of related programs, generation of sales/promotional material, etc and responsible for new and discontinued item process, administer commodity auto ship program, new and special orders and booked order changes for corporate accounts, manage open stock item changes, link items & vendors between warehouses, monitor inventory, create and maintain various spreadsheets, run multiple database queries and reports, maintain graphics library, processing orders, enter and audit list, TD and performance based promotions, CPAC production via Ad Assembler, generate sales/promotion material, run positive and negative distribution reports, processing lost sales report, support of continuity program, research and process of billing and credit issues, monitor/troubleshoot large volume of retail and vendor inquiries, produce show books, quarterly planners and work at trade events, administration of Salient program.  Job Requirements: 3-5 years of senior level, progressive administrative experience, with demonstrated assumption of elevated levels of responsibility.  Familiarity with GM/HBC or Center Store commodities and/or industry experience is preferred.  Flexible to adapt to changing priorities, programs and commodities as needed. Motivated to achieve and sustain excellence. Must have excellent organization, prioritization and muti-tasking ability. Must be able to successfully interact with a multitude of people of varying personalities, solid written and verbal communication. Must be able to work independently to achieve and maintain extremely high levels of production and able to work overtime during heavy production. A strong sense of initiative, accuracy and attention to detail.  Advanced level technical skills in both Excel & Access and able to learn new and proprietary or industry specific software programs.
