Purpose: Under the direction of the Sales Accounting and Operations Financial Control Manager, the SAO Clinic Supervisor is responsible for the effective, on-going management of clinic financial operations. This includes overseeing the reconciliation of sales and accounts receivable, partnering with 3rd party provider to ensure accurate and timely processing, analyzing and reporting results. Also, ensuring compliance with SOX, PCI (Payment Card Industry) and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) guidelines and regulations. See Yourself: Responsible for the productive and effective operation of the Clinic Receivables team. Serving as the primary contact for RCO (revenue cycle outsourcer). Managing communication related to clinic billing and receivables. Monitoring performance of RCO, ensuring level of service standards are met. Regularly monitoring and reviewing billing and collection efforts, adjustments and write-offs to identify performance opportunities. Escalating issues as appropriate. Consulting and serving on teams for new initiatives related to clinic receivables. Developing and preparing clinic receivable metrics to measure and evaluate internal and external performance. Ensuring that processes and systems meet SOX, PCI, HIPAA and other related guidelines and regulations. Overseeing the documentation, testing and quarterly certification processes. When deficiencies exist, initiates remediation efforts to eliminate deficiency. Analyzing and managing staffing requirements to support business needs. Helping develop, communicate and implement personnel policy. Developing team leads and team members; recommending for promotional opportunities as appropriate. Identifying projects and training to develop team members. Continuously reviewing clinics processes and making suggestions for improvement.
