Commercial Inside Support Representative

The basic function of the Commercial Inside Support Representative is to partner with the Commercial Sales group to provide new business leads, assist with Visio layout designs and help create RFP’s in accordance with 2nd Wind policies and procedures.
Other functions include assisting in the preparation of reports and business analysis within the company CRM specific to commercial sales forecasts, trends and opportunities.
The Commercial Inside Support Representative will work with other members of the commercial sales department in addition to cross-functional colleagues in marketing, operations etc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Identifies potential new business opportunities via construction data bases, public records and internet searches and provides sales leads to commercial sales representatives Makes outbound phone calls to qualify potential new sales leadsAssists sales representatives with Visio floor designs and 3D drawings Supports sales representatives by writing, editing and delivering professional Request For Proposals (RFP’s) to potential customers Tracks all commercial leads and creates reports on progress as needed within 2nd Wind CRM system Proactively learns all new systems and processes to enhance personal productivity and department accuracyMay provide general administrative support to commercial sales representatives as directedCreates new processes to reduce paper and optimize department efficiency
EDUCATION
Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field Required: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field or High School equivalent with ability to write RFP’s, work in Visio or other CAD design software
EXPERIENCE
Required: 3-5 years successful telemarketing experience in mid size to large business along with ability to write RFP’s, provide excellent customer service and working knowledge of Visio or other CAD design software SKILLS: Intermediate Microsoft Office abilities, Power Point with a strong understanding of excel or others spreadsheet programs. Possess strong organizational abilities with an exceptional level of detail orientation. Has the ability to meet deadlines and due dates. Functional knowledge of Visio, CAD design software. Demonstrated strong communication abilities to include the constructive willingness to confront difficult people. Working knowledge of CRM’s a plus.PHYSICAL: Includes sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing and use of hands and arms to operate office equipment and move light office equipment.MENTAL: Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Must be able to work under time and budgetary pressures.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This person will work in the headquarter office which is a temperature controlled, smoke free environment with moderate noise. The role may require limited travel to stores and occasional time spent in third party vendor offices.
