Status:  Full Time, Employee Job Category:  Accounting/Finance/Insurance Career Level:  Entry Level Education Level:  High School or equivalent Job Description Job ID: 789Position Description: Responsible for processing invoices, and varying functions within the Accounts Payable DepartmentPosition Requirements: Review, research and approve all past due invoices Follow procedure for processing cash discount vendor discrepancies Handle incoming calls and correspondence efficiently Audit vendor statements on a monthly basis; deduct outstanding credits Review all collected balances due True Value Company Review open purchase orders on a monthly basis Track all accounts payable status requests daily, and report monthly to supervisors Other duties as assigned Position Attributes:High School Degree or equivalent A minimum of 2 years related experience MS Office Proficiency: Word, Excel, Access knowledge a plus Data entry proficiency Good judgement and analytical skills Ability to handle confidential matters Ability to multitask, detail oriented Professional phone etiquette Ability to work independently.
