Purpose and Scope: Lead all Loss Prevention Corporate Security, Safety and Awareness Initiatives. Provide a safe and secure work environment for all employees and company assets within their district. Ability to work with the Corporate Security Director to ensure the safety and protection of our associates and guests and protection of company assets, including company property, props, prototypes and sample merchandise. Manages a staff of three to ten Loss Prevention Associates.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing a safe and secure work environment for all employees and company assets within there district
Promote and adhere to all company policy and procedures
Execute Manager on Duty (MOD) functions at all corporate locations when assigned
Lead and develop direct reports, including but not limited to:
Performance Management of security staff to ensure a safe and secure environment
Schedule and document monthly generals with all direct reports- outlining monthly performance and detail feedback
Identify and recruit new loss prevention associates as needed
Identify and resolve all theft and fraudulent activity.
Review and provide regular feedback on the effectiveness of various building, event and executive protection programs
Ensure consistency on corporate building controls; emergency procedures; crisis plans and daily security (in-house / contract) management
Identify opportunities for new building/event security methods and technologies to enhance security and improve productivity
Provide monthly S.W.O.T. (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) assessment summaries on all corporate buildings, key events, executive security and safety and develop and implement appropriate proactive measures to mitigate risks
Track and adhere to all budget requirements for respective district to ensure that departmental goals are met
Support Loss Prevention initiatives as directed by LP Senior Management
Ensures compliance to all company safety policy and procedures, initiate resolution and report deficiencies to senior management
Develop and conduct Loss Prevention corporate orientation and awareness training
Develop and maintain partnerships with internal & external business partners and local law enforcement.
Develop physical security protection packages for all corporate facilities
Perform monthly and weekly facility site assessments and audits to identify theft, physical security or safety exposures and issues
Ensure physical security measures are in good working order i.e. cameras, alarms, locks, etc.
Perform weekly LP facility site assessments to identify theft, physical security or safety exposures
Lead and coordinate security coverage for special/high profile events including and not limited to Fashion Shows, Share Holders Meeting, Sample Sales, Philanthropy Events and any other key events with significant brand implications
Develop security event planning template for general event planning; including general guidelines on potential cost and risks concerns
Be liaison between Polo and external organizations (i.e., Police Departments, Fire Departments, Third Party vendor, etc.) on event planning and security expectations
Job Requirements:
Minimum five years experience working in a high pressure environment.
Minimum three years experience managing a staff of three or more employees.
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
