Counter Sales

Duties/Responsibilities:

·  Provide professional quality customer service to internal and external customers.

·  Handling availability of product and pricing inquiries

·  Processing the point of sale transaction and adhering to cash handling procedures.  Audit and reconcile cash drawer daily to balance with Cash Reconciliation Report and minimum balance.

·  Write orders and provide warehouse personnel with information for pick ticket and/or to fill customer’s orders.

·  Complete receiving ticket for non-warranty returns.  Review and validate documents for warranty claims.  Ensure manual tickets are logged daily.

·  Answer telephone, written and personal inquiries regarding availability and pricing of product.

·  Increase sales opportunities through promotion of ancillary accessories and equipment. 

·  Set up display and manage stock.  Restock parts and accessories.

·  Exposure to HVAC industry a plus.

Educational / Experience requirements:

·  High School Diploma or equivalent
