Join our entrepreneurial, customer-centric company in the role of Internet Creative Director at our Atlanta (Norcross), GA headquarters. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Reporting to the VP of Internet Operations, the Creative Director will develop and oversee the brand look and feel online and manage the internet art production staff. This person will plan, develop, and execute design of online pages including: web product detail, category pages and home page. In addition, this person will develop online marketing pages and online ad units. The Creative Director is focused on continually improving the look and feel of the web site www.footsmart.com and the media units placed in online marketing programs our company has running online. You will work with Marketing, IT, Merchandising, Catalog and all members of the Internet team. In addition, you will work daily with our Online Analytics team. Essential Responsibilities: · Development and execution of Internet publishing events on schedule and within budget· Direct management of the creative staff which includes mentoring and coaching to meet department objectives· Work with Marketing and Internet team to measure and optimize Web site creative to maximize customer engagement and response. · Continuously work to develop concepts that strengthen graphic presentation and/or graphic image· Work with Benchmark Brands value proposition to execute key messages regarding Company, promotions, product positioning, brand image and brand awareness· Comp and design online pages with a goal of optimizing the online shopping experience· Work with Marketing on development of a consistent look and feel designed to maximize direct marketing ROI· Develop an online creative production schedule coordinating with other team members to meet both Catalog and Internet launch cycles· Comp and design specialty stores for vertical interest · Optimize images for best presentation online with lowest bandwidth usage · Explore and comp uses of flash and other rich-media · Create and maintain an online style guide which the entire team can use in making online design decisions· Develop seasonal elements to support categories and product sales· Interact with the Scene 7 system as needed as a image enhancement/serving systemPosition Requirements: · Bachelors Degree in Design, Fine Arts, Graphic Arts, User Interface Design, Communications or similar degree· 5+ years in creative and production management for retailer, catalog, periodical or advertising/marketing/interactive agency· Knowledge of Web and e-Business technologies, principles, and processes· Comprehensive knowledge of design, photography, copywriting and editing· Working knowledge of online and print image management systems and all aspects of pre-media· Experience working on integrated, Web-based marketing programs· Outstanding business acumen and leadership skills· Highly organized, strong communication skills and thrive in fast paced environment· Proficient with Macintosh, Word, Photoshop, QuarkXPress, Flash, Microsoft Office and Content Management Systems· Ability to develop, plan and manage creative schedules with multiple projects, deadlines and budgets (strong project management)· Experience with Scene 7 a plus· Experience in AB or multivariate testing a plus· Fluency in HTML a plusWHAT WE WILL PROVIDE FOR YOU We offer a very competitive salary and bonus program, as well as a strong benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance and 401k.
