Credit and Collections Specialist

Under Armour is seeking a Credit and Collections Specialist with a determined attitude to Protect This House!  This is a great opportunity to join a growing team that is crucial to the organization’s success.  The ideal person will have a college degree, 3+ years of collection and customer service experience and familiarity with a corporate financial accounting system (SAP preferred).  Knowledge of the following will also help you become a member of this team; Fair Debt Collections Practice Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Credit Billing Act, as well as, Federal Bankruptcy Laws.

What does Under Armour expect of me?
• Analyze credit limits and terms for public and private companies.
• Make a combination of customer service and/or collection type telephone calls.
• Investigate/Resolve discrepancies in the payments received from customers versus the amounts due UA.
• Prepare and process credit/debit memos.
• Work to resolve charge backs.
• Send appropriate collection correspondence.
• Refer/Recommend to Department Manager accounts receivable write-offs.
• Obtain department approval to write-off specific aged accounts and refer them for outside collection or legal action.
• Prepares reports and analysis as requested.
