Customer Research Marketing Operations Analyst

PetSmart currently has an opening for a CRM Operations Analyst located at the Corporate Headquarters in Northwest Phoenix. This position is responsible for the execution of CRM campaign operations (e.g. list selection, data delivery, response identification, etc.), customer reporting, and ad-hoc customer analyses based on pre-determined selection logic. In addition, this position will maintain a CRM project list/calendar for planning and tracking campaigns. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to execute timely campaigns and optimize accurate customer reporting with little supervision. Demonstrates accountability Campaign and Contact Management • Manage the execution and timely deliveries of over 100 CRM direct/email campaigns annually. • Maintain campaign selection logic, generate campaign files and coordinate delivery. • Ensure contact management business rules are consistently followed when selecting campaigns. • Manage the successful and timely entry into the CRM database each campaign’s details, such as production costs, response criteria, coupon UPC, and similar data necessary to calculate variables in the campaign performance reports. • Record and maintain direct mail test strategies and campaign logic definitions. • Manage the creation of UPCs for campaigns. • Manage CRM campaigns so that they are delivered accurately and as close to the campaign in-home dates as possible. Work with all constituencies, CRM Marketing Managers, Print Production, direct mail vendors, email vendors, Creative, etc., to continually improve and execute efficient processes. Systems • Assist in training users on the campaign management systems and processes employed by PetSmart. • Become a “power user” of the UNICA campaign tool, Cognos reporting system and the Allink customer database. TECHNICAL SKILLS • Able to demonstrate advanced PC application skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio) • Able to demonstrate advanced campaign management systems understanding (Unica Campaign) • Able to demonstrate analytical and strategic thinking skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Economics, Finance, Business, Marketing, Computer Science or Statistics. One to two years related experience in CRM/database marketing campaign management and/or customer reporting is preferred.
