Customer Sales and Service Representative

Cornerstone Brands, Inc. is an established leader in direct marketing of the finest home, leisure and casual apparel brands.  Our fine family of brands includes Ballard Designs, Frontgate, Garnet Hill, Improvements, Smith+Noble, The Territory Ahead and TravelSmith.  We are searching for seasonal Customer Sales and Service Representatives to join our team.We have varoius afternoon and evening, full and part time temp to hire positions available.  Our next training class begins May 12th.

Job Description

Working in our inbound call center, representatives will provide services to customers regarding functional high quality products and accents for the home and garden.  Basic responsibilities include customer retention, order taking, account maintenance, and educating customers about product usage.  We are a direct marketing company with a very strong emphasis on using product knowledge and telephone listening and probing skills to cross sell and up-sell products. We have high quality standards and expect our representatives to treat each call with care and World Class Customer Service.  Individuals successful in this role possess an enthusiasm and love of working with customers to exceed their expectations.

Qualifications

 

Ability to establish rapport with customer while maintaining commitment to customer satisfaction. Prior sales and / or cross selling experience, preferably in a call center environment. Strong problem solving and decision making skills. Ability to multi-task: inputting data, probing, providing solutions, and navigating through various screens while applying customer satisfaction techniques. Ability to type 25 correct WPM. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle heavy flow of inbound calls. Must be detailed oriented and work as a team player to ensure customer excellence.
