Database Administrator with Cutting Edge Non-Profit

 

SUMMARY:

WORKING NEVER FELT SO GOOD!  The Database Administrator will be responsible for the development, implementation, configuration, tuning, and continued support of application software across a wide range of business platforms/types (Clinical, Call Center, Finance, Human Resources and Retail Stores).  Additionally, the candidate will perform all aspects of application support including backup and recovery planning, as well as research and evaluation of new databases and software.  Administrator will assist in developing policies, standards and procedures related to the application environment. Experience with the following databases is required: Microsoft SQL 2000 and 2005, Microsoft Access 2000 and 2003.

On Call Duty will be needed monthly on a rotating weekly basis and is shared with other members of the Information Technology department.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

At least 1-2 years previous experience working with databases required.  Applicants must possess a working knowledge of networks and basic system and hardware troubleshooting and have proven excellent customer service skills.  Bachelors degree in computer science or information technology preferred. Experience with the following databases required: Microsoft SQL 2000 and 2005, Microsoft Access 2000 and 2003.
