Delivery Specialist (Non- CDL)

We currently have full-time openings for the position of Delivery Specialist across our company.

 

Position Overview:

Carter Lumber Delivery Specialists are responsible for delivering merchandise to both contractors and do-it-yourselfers. This position is accountable for making sure that all deliveries are made timely and complete and ensuring the customer's satisfaction. Delivery Specialists will assist with building loads and loading customers in the lumberyard when not making deliveries. This position reports to the Yard Supervisor. NOTE: This position is not an over-the-road semi hauler.

Requirements to join the Carter Lumber team:Previous delivery experience and an acceptable driving record (subject to completion of a driving background check) Demonstrated ability to interact positively with customers Ability to complete independent work assignments efficiently Familiarity with building materials is helpful Regular lifting and loading of building materials Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
