Designer, Men's Accessories

Section 1 –Role Statement
Designs brand right product for Women's, soft tops, dresses, skirts and novelty shirts all while interpreting seasonal trends concepts, and color.

Section 2 – Essential Tasks
1.Design brand right products for respective classification, as stated above
2.Select fabrics, trims, prints, and patterns for development
3.Creates flat sketches and initiates development tech packs
4.Shops for samples, inspiration, to interpret trends and concepts for department.
5.Attends and runs fittings, reviews samples, makes comments and advises corrections.
6.Generate tech packs
7.Assist in preparation for design owned milestone meetings
8.Excellent presentation skills
9.Work with cross functional team members to resolve outstanding issues

Section 3 – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•Ability to identify and interpret trends.
•Strong technical skills: Illustrator, Excel, Word, Web PDM
•Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
•Strong communication skills
•Elevated taste level and fashion sense within the context of the Express brand





Bachelor’s degree in Design or related work experience
•Minimum of 4 yrs experience
•International travel experience preferred
