Job Functions:Perform analysis, design, and problem solving tasks of medium to advanced complexity that can be performed by other developers as well as maintain appropriate SLC documents.Expertise and experience on the WM systems preferably version 2004rl and higher.Interfacing into and out of the WM systems, business process support and configuration experience.Write, configure, build and/or modify advanced software, tools, and/or application programs.Assist with the creation of test cases, and participate in functional, load and performance testing.Develop skills in advanced analysis, design, and problem solving as well as writing, configuring, building and/or modifying software, tools and/or application programs.Participate in training opportunities to further develop technical skills and assist in identifying and evaluating formal training programs for the organization.Assist in the training and development of Developer I, II, & III as well as review and enforce the usage and implementation of established standards.  Other duties may also be assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of WM help desk and troubleshooting on WM issues. Knowledge of WM Yard Management, Manhattan Associate Slot IT, Performance Manager, WM Material Handling Interfacing and  WM Logistics/TE Systems desirable.Ability to teach other team members programming language concepts and techniques, software applications and tools and to assist in the implementation of established standards for the current environment.Ability to teach other team members to apply structured application analysis, design and database practices as well as the knowledge and application of the software development tools and methodologies.Ability to function as a team player.Ability to assist others in adapting and learning new and changing technologies.Ability to effectively communicate in a courteous and professional manner and to assist in preparation of presentations for management.Skill in utilizing good judgment in application of technical skills.Ability to assist others in applying technical skills to solve current and future business needs ensuring logical, feasible, and practical methods or solutions in development processes.Ability to balance multiple concurrent projects of varying priorities. Education & Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in computer science and/or Business related field, or equivalent.A minimum of 5 years of experience at a Developer III level or equivalent.
