As our Director of Supply Chain Innovation, you'll develop the vision and long-term strategic US Supply Chain plans. You'll create and maintain a prioritized Supply Chain road map aligned to global, regional and function-specific business plans and key initiatives in support of the US mission and key objectives. You'll also provide expert level support and direction in Supply Chain planning and execution. Continually, you'll drive and lead efforts to streamline Supply Chain activities across the region. You'll create competitive Supply Chain advantages by leading silo and cross-functional initiatives targeted to improve effectiveness and efficiency in support of market place dominance. Furthermore, you'll integrate sourcing and manufacturing processes and systems internally (with regions and countries) and externally (with suppliers and vendors) using a structured methodology to improve and/or develop optimized solutions. You'll engage with NSC and PDM to drive/leverage Nike's investment in Supply Chain re-engineering. Moreover, you'll establish Supply Chain performance metrics and drive for progress toward goals. You'll recommend and implement changes to the Supply Chain as necessary to achieve these goals. You'll also lead a team of professionals who'll drive the Supply Chain changes. Not to mention, you'll provide direction and guidance, support and coaching, including CFEs, People Development, and HRP. You'll be proactive in assessing and communicating the implications of new business processes and system changes. You'll identify potential areas of risk and develop actions to mitigate the risks. You'll also work within sourcing and manufacturing (functions, hubs, liaison offices and regional sourcing) and with external partners (suppliers and vendors) to create and execute transition plans that effectively prepare the Supply Chain for success. In addition, you'll oversee the implementation of process and system changes, and be responsible for the transition from the old to the new. Requirements for the position include: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management or a related field - 10 years' experience in industry operations - 5+ years' experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing functions - 5+ years' experience managing professional-level employees - Global/International experience preferred - Experience and knowledge of all aspects of Supply Chain management (supply planning, demand planning, sourcing, delivery planning, logistics, etc) - Broad knowledge of manufacturing and product management, and customer management - Expert knowledge of principles and issues related to Information Technology systems, development and design - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations - Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience - Ability to effectively elevate strategic concerns to senior management in a timely and accurate manner - Strong ability to develop high-profile, influential, and collaborative relationships across teams, functions, and layers - Sound judgment and ability to contribute meaningfully in the determination of policy and strategy - Ability to exercise the highest degree of professionalism - Demonstrated leadership capability, including the ability to innovate, inspire, empower, and coach others - Ability to lead high profile, complex initiatives and project teams - Strong ability to create new ideas, generate consensus and work cooperatively - Ability to communicate a compelling vision - Strong understanding of financial concepts related to project evaluation, financial forecasting, return on investment, cash flow analysis, and cost accounting - Familiarity and working knowledge of various and advanced technologies and systems - Long term strategic planning skills - Ability to travel 20-30% of the time is a requirement Interested yet?
