The Director of LP will be responsible for the development of all prevention/risk management strategies and Programs.  The Director leads a team to achieve maximum results in the areas of physical asset security/protection, cash handling, inventory shortage, and assessment of existing loss prevention policies and procedures. Primary Responsibilities:

 

· Develop effective loss prevention programs that result in more proactive prevention, detection and resolution of both internal and external sources of loss.

· Leads roll-out of ongoing shrink awareness programs and ensures consistent execution of policies in both field and DC locations.

· Identifies opportunities to reduce shortage and liability by developing, implementing, and reporting on results of action plans for field and DC locations.

· Reviews and analyzes results of shortage control programs after each inventory cycle to identify potential issues.

· Prepares and/or reviews detailed case reports on investigations and provides the VP, Operations with a monthly recap of all company-wide LP related activity.

· Coordinates and ensures that appropriate strategies are in place to ensure that both internal and external investigations are brought to successful conclusion.

· Coordinate and facilitate training of Distribution supervisory staff and Field Store Management to address all areas of loss and liability control. 

· Develops LP training content for annual Field Store Management conferences.

· Supervises DC Security staff in execution of their responsibilities and adherence to all policies and procedures.

· Develop cross-departmental partnerships through a spirit of teamwork and

  understanding.

· Must be able to travel as needed on ships

 

 

 

 

Required Experience:

 

 

· College degree or equivalent experience

· 7-8 years successful and progressive multi-unit loss prevention supervisory experience. 

· Previous multi-store retail experience required.

· Wicklander-Zulawski or Reid Interviewing and Interrrogation Training with practical experience
