Director of Marketing - World Renowned Retail Company

This company supports the communities in which its retail stores are located and is considered one of the most charitable and generous retailers in the United States.This company is seeking a Director of Marketing, an individual who will build a profitable event marketing plan across all channels of the company, but will focus primarily on creating successful marketing plans for store openings throughout the U.S. . This person will be an integral member of the marketing team and will lead the planning and execution of events and will oversee creation of collateral materials, and work closely with Visual Merchandising to develop visual presentation schemes. The ideal candidate for this position will be an expert at managing change and developing cohesive and effective teams. This person should have at least 3 years of event planning, store openings, account management, and multi-channel retail marketing experience. The ability to understand the needs of regional markets and develop effective strategies with their needs in mind is a big plus. A 4 year degree in marketing or management is a must.
