Duties will include customer service, safety, accuracy, inventory control, overhead control, sanitation, productivity, scheduling and training of team members, as well as motivating team members within the area. Additional responsibilities will include benchmarking operational metrics, improving efficiencies, team member accountability, cost control, and upholding corporate policies and directives. Ideal candidates must possess the following: College degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management Previous experience with management of distribution operations Understanding of warehouse management systems Effective verbal & written communication skills Excellent organizational, problem solving, and follow-up skills Ability to effectively work in a team environment Labor relations in diverse union & non-union environments Ability to work in a fast paced consistently changing environment Working knowledge of FDA, USDA, & OSHA, regulations Proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and WordIf you have the experience described, log on to our website at www.joinmeijer.com and apply online.
