They will provide direction to approximately 25 team members and engage them to complete daily work assignments. Additional duties include responsibility for customer service, building accuracy, inventory control, overhead control, sanitation, productivity, safety, upholding corporate policies and goalsPreferred candidates possess the following experience/knowledge/skills/abilities: College degree or equivalent operations management experience. Proactive leadership style. Working knowledge of distribution operations & warehouse management systems. Effective verbal & written communication skills. Excellent analytical & follow-up skills. Effective working in a team environment. Labor relations in diverse union & non-union environments. Engineered labor standards knowledge. Powered industrial equipment operation experience. FDA, USDA, & OSHA, regulations. Proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, EXCEL, and WORD. Ability to work 2nd shift with a 24/7 operation. Ability to work in a temperature controlled environment (34 -55 degrees).Additional languages are a plus. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
