Purpose: As a District Administrative Assistant, you will provide support and perform a variety of administrative duties for DMG and other managers as assigned as well as maintaining a high degree of confidentiality, Handling a high volume of work and is comfortable with an extremely unpredictable nature of work flow.See Yourself: Establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external guests. Arranging appointments, and conference calls. Maintaining vacation calendar and master calendar of events/meetings/etc. Performing general administrative duties. Preparing check requests and expense reports, and tracks on-going expenses against budget to ensure correct accounts have been charged. Coordinating travel and hotel reservations. Assisting with Human Resource needs as appropriate. Acting as confidential assistant in support of the DMG. Demonstrates considerable judgment, tact, creativity and initiative in these duties. Conducting special projects and performs other tasks as assigned by DMG.Job Requirements:Minimum Requirements High School education, some college 3-5 years of work experience Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio Strong oral and written communication skills, business English, composition, spelling and grammar Task oriented with excellent sense of priority and ability to manage multiple tasks; flexibility, independence and a high degree of initiative Strong prioritizing, organization, problem solving and decision making skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and balance fluctuating workload Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of sensitivity for confidentiality Develops working knowledge of division activities and interactions to understand their significance and how they fit in the organization.
