MANAGEMENT & REPORTING STRUCTUREReports directly to VP Regional Asset Protection. Directly manages 1-3 associates. POSITION DESCRIPTIONProvide physical security of assigned buildings. Investigate dishonest associates. Assist in overseeing of operational controls such as tech center, cash department, and warehouse. Train associates in preventing loss. Partner with district management and store managers in preventing shrink. Administer audits for operational compliance. Control overall inventory.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES• Provide physical security of assigned buildings. Investigate dishonest associates. • Assist in overseeing of operational controls such as tech center, cash department, and warehouse. • Train associates in preventing loss. • Partner with district management and store managers in preventing shrink. • Administer audits for operational compliance. • Control overall inventory.• Produce policies, procedures, newsletters and other communication to stores.• Responsible for other duties as assigned or developed.PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in business or criminal justice or equivalent relevant experience.• 3-5 years of experience gained through work in asset protection area in a retail environment.• Experience conducting investigations, loss prevention training and understanding of local laws.• Experience using a PC.• Ability to solve a variety of problems in situations where only limited standardization exists.• Ability to compose major reports, policy or procedure manuals, proposals, and brochures.• Ability to deliver presentations regarding potentially controversial issues, which involves negotiation.• Develop innovative ideas and solutions of potentially great significance to the company’s future.Budget Responsibility: Responsible for budget development, expense control, and/or revenue generation for a department.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
