District Manager - NE

Ready Set Companies is looking for a qualified candidate to assume the role of District Manager in the State of NE.  We are a business partner with Home Depot and handle projects and merchandising in all of their stores.  This position will be based out of Omaha and will consist of handling all Home Depots' in the state of NE.The candidate chosen will manage approximately 10 service/merchandising agents.

Position Goal:

 

To represent RSS in each respective district as our manager responsible for all policies, procedures, employees, services, and P&L.

 

Management Level Guidelines (objective):

 To hire, develop, and retain a full and capable staff of service agents throughout territory in accordance with RSS standard operating procedures covering: new hire package, orientation, expense guidelines, compensation, benefits programs, and Quarterly personnel performance reviews.Executing 100% of all Service Level Guidelines (SLGs) as measured through Pace handheld technology and otherwise in a timely manner.Responsible for daily in-field management of each employee, instilling company policies / best practice initiatives and reinforcing understanding of all SLGs and current THD projects.Responsible for weekly review of employees’ successes and / or failures through use of Pace / RSS website, Service by Class Trackers, Map Addition Trackers, and Map Execution Reports.Responsible for enabling employees to confidently deliver in-aisle PKs on specified products as deemed necessary by THD.Executing 100% of all required store / product surveys on or before required THD deadline.Read and deliver annual / quarterly personnel reviews.Annual attendance of (1) off-site personal development course as approved by your RSS manager. Spend a minimum of 35 hours in stores weekly.Meet with each THD DM in District a minimum of once per quarter.Complete DM Recap Report and submit to VP of Service as well as VP/GM.

 

Management Level Guidelines (subjective):

 Establishing necessary and productive relationships with key THD management personnel such as RVPs, RMMs, DMs, SMs, & ASMsCreative thinking to aid in building RSS productivity & efficiencies.Effective communication of all RSS policies, procedures, responsibilities to all necessary parties.Identify, train, and prepare extraordinary employees into future management positions.Implement current training guidelines for existing managers-in-training.Keep in stock and organized all offsite warehouse facilities.

 

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:

·  Works under the close supervision of the Regional Vice President.

·  Exercises direct supervision over assigned region Service Agents.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

Sufficient education, training and/or work experience to demonstrate possession of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities which would typically be acquired.

·  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience

·  One or more years of managerial experience

·  Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

·  Knowledge of management principles and practices.

·  Knowledge of hiring procedures.

·  Solid organizational and time management skills.

·  Ability to carry out assigned projects to their completion.

·  Ability to communicate with others, orally and in writing, and to assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.

·  Ability to operate a personal computer with proficiency in Windows based software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

3.  Physical Demands: Work involves walking, climbing, kneeling, talking, hearing, using hands to handle, feel or operate objects, or tools, and reaching with hands and arms. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Employee will be required to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
