District Visual Manager - Midwest & West Coast

Career Level Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) District Visual Manager - Midwest & West Coast Lands End is a leading direct merchant of traditionally styled, classic casual wear and products for the home. We are currently searching for a District Visual Manager. This opening is for the Midwest region and West coast regions. The person in this position is responsible for creating a highly compelling visual presentation of Lands End merchandise that will motivate customers and drive sales through multiple selling channels, specifically supporting the Lands End shops at Sears. This role is accountable for the visual interpretation of the design and merchandising vision each season and supports marketing presentations across channels. A strong understanding of current market trends and innovative visual approaches are required to strengthen and elevate the look of the Lands End brand at retail. This individual in this role be an integral member of the visual merchandising and retail teams and provide the necessary visual support needed to promote the brand.QualificationsAs a Visual Merchandise Manager you will need to work closely with cross-functional business partners to collaborate and execute brand messages. You are a steward for the brand. The person in this role must have the ability to drive and support key corporate merchandising strategies resulting in profitable sales. This role requires an ability to analyze the business and translate results into strong visual presentations. You will train and develop field store teams to deliver strong retail visual message. Additionally, you will communicate with the stores on a regular basis and be available to provide direction that is brand right in addition to answering questions from the field. Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements A successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to develop and execute successfully on multi-channel, cross-functional visual ideas that are creative and customer focused. Additional requirements of the position include:"5+ years of experience in a visual merchandising position"Specialty store retail experience is preferred. "Strong computer skills necessary to compose reports, log digital photos and communicate to stores "Demonstrate a clear understanding of apparel merchandising and visual direction"Strong communication skills - both verbal and written. "Ability to be flexible in an fast paced environment"Proven ability to drive and deliver key timelines"Strong understanding of market trends"Heavy travel required. This position oversees 6+ MEGA Lands' End @ Sears locations.
