ETL Developer

This ETL Developer is responsible for developing ETL processes and scripts for the Enterprise Data Warehouse project

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 Develop Technical specification, Data mapping documents Develop SQL coding and ETL  Jobs Design and development

·  Design, develop, and implement test strategies for the ETL processBug fixing and provide support to the Business Intelligence and Business Users team.

·  Compliance SOX Control policy for all phases of change management in the  ETL processes

·  Provide user community support, training, and mentoringknowledge in Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence concepts with emphasis on ETL and Life Cycle Development including requirement analysis, design, development, testing and implementation. Perform Detailed Data Analysis  Involved in Designing Fact and Dimensional Tables, Slowly Changing Dimensions. Involved in Performance Fine Tuning of ETL programs. Tuned ETL Tool transformation stages and Stored Procedures Code. Good experience in working with SQL stored procedures, distributed applications, triggers and packages. Strong analytical and problem solving skillsTeam player with ability to communicate at all levels of development  Provide on-call support functions as needed.

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

·  Experience on Data stage ETL Tool is plus

·  Experience on Erwin Data Model Tool is plus

·  Experience on JDA, Arthur products, PeopleSoft is a plus

·  Understand logical modeling concepts

·  Strong business requirements gathering skills.

·  Strong experience working with SQL

·  Excellent interpersonal skills and follow-through

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in a large-scale, retail enterprise data warehouse is a plus.
