By the same token, we try very hard to create a rewarding workplace for our employees because people who are valued are better able to value other people.  Where you will be working.You will be working in our company headquarters in El Segundo, CA, as well as multiple retail facilities throughout Southern California. What you will do.You will coordinate daily Employee Relations programs and functions in multiple retail facilities throughout Southern California. You will assist the Employee Relations Manager and other members of the Human Resources Department in delivering and maintaining our company culture. You will lead by example and foster organizational change. Managers and employees must feel comfortable and confident in bringing confidential and sensitive information to you. You will exercise good judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and upholding policies and procedures, delivering in-service employee training and educational programs, counsel and educate management on all aspects of Employee Relations, performance and development consulting, investigate problems such as: working conditions, disciplinary actions, allegations of harassment or violations of policy, and any issues between managers and employee, and courses of action. You will ensure proper documentation is followed and consideration of any legal ramifications.  Who we are looking for.We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Business or Human Resources and 2-5 years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience, with emphasis in Employee Relations within the retail industry. You must have strong presentation skills, knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and computer proficiency, with emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite.  How we reward you.Because our job is to keep our customers coming back again and again, creating a rewarding workplace is very important to us. Keys to a positive workplace include growth opportunities, flexibility, rewards and treating people with respect.
