Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum 3-5 years work experience in the accounting field (general ledger, accounts payable).Prior Fixed Asset experience desired.Personal computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products.Familiar with CICS mainframe application environment.High level of initiative for detail oriented work required.Lawson experience desirable especially AP.Proficient 10 key, data entry skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.High problem solving skills and the ability to work independentlyKey Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Check invoices for compliance with Company Policy.Match purchase orders with vendor invoices. Validate sales tax according to state laws.Code and enter invoices for accounts payable and Fixed Asset systems. Batch and balance invoices for entry into both payables and Fixed Asset systems. Prepare and process journal entries. Correspond with both internal and external customers.Perform vendor and fixed asset research as needed. Complete other duties as assigned.Salary InfoSalary range begins at $27,800.
