Field Associate Relations Specialist

We’re a leading consumer-driven footwear company and wholesale supplier of women’s fashion shoes to U.S. department stores under brand names like Naturalizer, Via Spiga, Franco Sarto and LifeStride. We’re a marketer and supplier of brand-name, private label and licensed footwear to department stores, mass-merchandisers, and independent and specialty stores.Position Accountabilities Assures the implementation and maintenance of company policies and programs that provide associate behavior guidance as aligned with company culture Assures timely resolutions of associate relations issues, concerns, and performance issuesAssures appropriateness and consistency in dismissal decisionsPosition Essential Functions In partnership with Manager, Associate Relations, develops, implements, and continually improves processes to: Provide timely follow-up and ongoing communication with field management regarding performance and associate issues and concerns (to supervisor and associate) Provide training on relevant topis including coaching, performance counseling, work environment, employment law topics and leadership learning Investigate associate complaints, EEO claims, lawsuits, and attorney letters Respond in a timely manner to all state and federal claims Assists field management in learning to address problems and create solutions that appear to impact a large group of individuals Assist in the successful onboarding of DSMs and RSDs Provides support, when needed, to Field Talent Management Facilitates the performance counseling process for the field organization Assists in identifying issues and solutions that significantly impact the work environmentPosition Specifications Educational Preference: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or business related field Job Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of Human Resources experience (in particular associate relations and training) Computer Experience: MS Office, Internet, HRIS and Visio helpfulCommunication Skills
