Floor Care Specialist - Store Services

The Environmental Services group with the Dollar General Store Services team is currently recruiting for a Floor Care Specialist to oversee this crucial function. The Floor Care Specialist is responsible for managing all day-today issues regarding floor care for all Dollar General stores. This includes establishing the yearly service plan (and budget) for all locations. The individual in this role will also assist with establishing and maintaining relationships with outside service providers and conduct random field inspections and vendor audits. Apply today!Bachelor’s degree preferred (preferably with a process improvement or business administration emphasis) or 7+ years experience required in floor care industry Ability to be a team player and is customer driven A professional, diplomatic demeanor is a must since candidate will be interfacing with all levels of management (and vendors) often in tense situations Excellent knowledge of Personal Computers Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs especially Excel (for reporting) Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Highly organized and advanced office skills required. Ability to manage multiple projects, consistently with conflicting time constraints Excellent knowledge of floor care (including chemicals and services) and other maintenance services required. Excellent knowledge of process improvement (in maintenance industry) Must have previous experience in the floor care industry (in retail facilities preferred).


Compensation will consist of a competitive salary based on your experience, with bonus potential.
