Job Summary: Floor Salesperson
Job Objective: East Bay Restaurant Supply is looking for a motivated inside sales representative for our Floor Retail Sales position for our Oakland location. This position holds a high level of responsibility to provide existing and new clientele with an outstanding level of service. You will sell our restaurant equipment and supplies to a customer base that includes homeowners, contractors, and designers. This requires selling skills in a competent, knowledgeable, professional manner to achieve the highest customer satisfaction.
You must have a high level of integrity, an ability and desire to create beneficial partnerships with an existing client base and prospective business. You will have a sense of urgency toward your responsibilities while clearly understanding your client’s needs and expectations, as well as search out, follow up, and close business opportunities.
Skills/Qualifications: This position requires a high sense of urgency, attention to detail, solid analytical skills, and good oral and written communication skills. Need to be a well organized, team player with a customer service approach to job performance. Requires Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook with proficient business math skills and computer literacy. Proficiencies will be tested during the interview process. Food Service and/or Great Plains experience a plus.
