 Job description:

 The production artist is responsible for assisting with layout and design for Guitar Center marketing campaigns. Specifically, we are looking for help with our loyalty campaigns, monthly sales campaigns, in-store campaigns, promotional campaigns and packaging campaigns.



Responsibilities include:prepping templates for production production layout creating clipping paths assisting in the PDF proofing process creating mock-ups retouching color correcting converting rasterized artwork into vector based format design for posters, flyers, marketing materials and adsmaking copies and assisting with the trafficking procedure assisting with miscellaneous administrative support related to production

Required skills:Ability to work independently Ability to multitask in fast paced environment Quark InDesign Photoshop Illustrator Streamline Acrobat/Distiller Internet web browser must be proficient with Mac OSX and OS9

Compensation:

$20.00 per hour.

Duration:

The production artist position is currently part-time only and the length of time will be negotiated on a project by project basis. This means the work can last for as little as one week or as long as six months, depending on the project. However, candidates will be considered for full time employment if their skills, attitude, compatibility and desire to succeed exceed the expectations set forth.
