Graphic Artist

Miles Kimball Company, a subsidiary of Blyth, Inc, which includes the Miles Kimball, Exposures, Miles Kimball Christmas Cards, Walter Drake, Easy Comforts, and The Home Marketplace, currently has an exceptional opportunity in our downtown Oshkosh location for 2 Graphic Artist.

Our Graphic Artist is responsible for the required production of the creative design, including placing images and copy to page templates, coordinating the acquiring of hi-res photography images and InDesign files for catalog and web use between Miles Kimball Company and outside vendors, and entering and monitoring image database. Once merchandise is logged into the database, assign the appropriate file name, description, and shooting notes. Print out product information sheet with barcode file name for identification. Technical College or College degree preferable, minimum of 1-2 years work related experience, thorough understanding of the four-color prepress and printing processes and solid communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.  Proficient in Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Knowledge of Microsoft, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and QuarkXpress also required.
