Job Responsibilities: Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptual development and the execution of creative deliverables. These responsibilities include creating and communicating concepts and implementing marketing strategies. Reporting to the Associate Design Manager, the graphic designer will work with a collaborative team of designers, copywriters, and production specialists. Balancing creative thinking with interpersonal sklls, this person will demonstrate an ability to justify concepts to both the project team and internal partners. Qualifications: Must be able to produce strong and compelling visual communications driven by innovative ideas. Must have Illustration skills and have a strong grasp of designing against strategic objectives and the PetSmart brand. Possess a strong sense of type, color and page design. Manage and adhere to established schedules while ensuring quality standards are met. Be a highly responsible team player that practices and drives design excellence. Have strong presentation skills. Demonstrate a high proficiency of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Be able to thrive in a collaborative, corporate environment. Possess a professional and positive attitude.
