Location SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94103 Status Full Time, Employee Job Category Sales/Retail/Business Development Group Manager---Bloomingdale's San Francisco West Coast Flagship  Overview: Senior Executive for Fashion Accessories and Home Furnishings division with a minimum of 10 years experience in a senior management position in a retail environment.  Responsible for the training and development of a team of executives, establishing the highest standards of customer service, strategizing, executing and maximizing sales and profits in the West Coast Flagship Store.  This position will have a 30 million volume responsibility with 7 executive direct reports and 140 sales associates reporting to this person.  Key Accountabilities: Recruit and select a team of qualified selling managers Actively coach and counsel selling managers to reach their fullest potential, maximize business opportunities and promote them to the next level Create a positive work environment that results in retention and turnover reduction Directly solicit feedback from customers on their shopping experience and satisfaction Celebrate customer service successes and coach to improve performance Clearly communicate store, company and departmental objectives so both staff and management are well informed Direct floor moves, merchandise placement and sales/event set up Ensure merchandising presentation and replenishment meet company standards through directing management team Communicate merchandise needs to buying organization Ensure that all procedures, policies and shortage awareness programs are thoroughly understood and implemented by selling managersSkills Summary: Minimum of ten years of senior level management experience in a retail environment Ability to work well with all levels of management, build partnerships and direct teams Strong leadership profile Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities Bloomingdale’s is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/V/D
