Purpose As a Guest Relationship Representative, you will provide a Target branded guest experience with every guest interaction for Target Card guests and Target stores related to check, credit service and authorization. You will efficiently and effectively handle incoming calls with high quality and professionalism, while achieving performance and service goals. You will appropriately establish relationships with guests by making strong connections and adding unexpected value to each guest experience in order to enhance and deepen guest relationships, drive guest loyalty and sales. You will deliver the same high level of service to store team members and merchants as with guests. After successful completion of 120 days in position, you will be promoted to a Sr. Guest Relationship Representative and Target Visa calls will be added to your responsibilities.See Yourself: Owning the Brand Providing a Target branded guest experience with every contact by listening and engaging the guest in order to deepen the guest relationship and drive guest loyalty Receiving and processing all incoming guest contacts for account service and authorization calls Providing support to stores on authorization approval and guests with account information including balance, terms, credit lines, adjustments, and loyalty and retail promotions Authorizing incoming credit and check calls from stores using on-line systems and performing any necessary system maintenance related to the transaction Listening and engaging the guest in order to support loyalty, retail, product and credit offer initiatives where appropriate Initiating billing adjustments, rating adjustments and fraud inquires to support further research and investigation Performing a wide variety of account maintenance including address changes, name and status of changes, card requests, finance adjustments, aging corrections, etc Using on-line resources, such as QuickSource and Electronic Journal, to assist and resolve guest issues Developing a strong and complete understanding of policies and procedures, and supporting compliance Interacting with other departments in order to ensure guests are being assisted timely and properly Maintaining department performance standards and goals related to performance, offers and quality service Supporting new and existing projects and initiatives when appropriate Quickly adapting to changing business needs Job Requirements Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or GED Strong passion for delivering great guest experience with every guest interactions Clear and concise communication skills Ability to interact with guests and stores with the appropriate branded, friendly, emphatic and professional style Active listening skills Ability to make decisions and solve problems while exercising common sense and good judgment Familiar and proficient with using web-based computer programs; such as the internet search functions and internet on-line systems Ability to use various computer information to answer questions, identify problems, and perform activities to resolve inquiries and issues Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment Focused on detail Ability to work in a large team environment Ability to go beyond the guests initial question or concern and promote credit/retail related information and products Desired Requirements: Guest Service Experience Credit Experience Sales/Marketing Experience College Degree See The Rewards Eligible team members will receive one of the best earnings packages anywhere, including competitive pay, all-around insurance coverage, 401(k), flexible scheduling, training and development and many other perks and benefits.
