We are seeking the best person -a visual display co-ordinator and accessory buyer to help show off how we have great style, better quality, and better prices.

You will work directly with the company’s top executives and be exposed to some of the most accomplished creative consultants.

 

 

The right c

 andidate must meet the following criteria:

  Minimum 3-5 years experience working with a home related retailer in visual 

merchandising.

  Experience working as accent and accessory buyer in world wide sourcing

and the development of new and unique products from varied vendors.

  Experience working in a multi-store operation coordinating with buyers 

and store managers to  the create the best multi-lifestyle presentations.

  An accomplished track record of implementing display and buying decisions 

that improved $’s per square foot.

  Knowledge of general furniture  and lifestyle stores and their approaches to

visual merchandising

  Negotiating pricing, setting up shipments of regular and container PO’s.

  Monitoring all products rate of sales, gross margin and making mark down 

   decisions.

  Ability to travel to all of Bernie& Phyl’s stores.

  Ability to travel to numerous trade shows
