HomeStore Office Manager - West LA

As a result of our tremendous growth, we are actively seeking an Office Manager in our up and coming West LA HomeStore facility. This position plays an integral role in Ashley Furniture HomeStores future success in meeting our customers’ needs and our continued growth.

Essential Functions:Provide leadership/supervision to the Office Lead and Customer Service Representatives following established company policies and procedures. Run, analyze and distribute daily reports Oversee the handling of cash and cash drawers Verify the accuracy of daily office paperwork and make sure all documents are accounted for, obtaining store management approval on documents when needed Maintain, audit and submit payroll reports for Customer Service Representatives Perform, basic daily, weekly and monthly accounting functions Assists with interviewing, selection and training of Office staff, conducts weekly meetings to deploy strategies for improvement Open/close store in rotation with store/sales manager team-including supervising entire staff when the only manager on duty and securing the building

Necessary Skills and Abilities:Associates degree in Business Administration required Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in retail environment required Strong communication and effective leadership skills; attention to detail; analytical and problem solving skills Proficient with Microsoft Office
