Human Resources Representative - IRIDESSE
The HR Representative - IRIDESSE, provides HR generalist support to the the Tiffany & Co. subsidiary IRIDESSE. The Rep will support this business with a focus on recruitment and staffing, with additional generalist responsibilities to include training and development, employee relations, compensation and benefits. The Representative will support the HR Team with all initiatives and special projects in order to support the IRIDESSE business needs and partner in meeting their goals. Responsibilities include: Recruitment for open positions, including Retail and Corporate. Interview all qualified candidates, internal and external via phone screening or in-person. Assess qualifications based on behavioral interviewing methods and refer to Hiring Manager as appropriate. Schedule interviews with Hiring Managers as necessary. The Representative will utilize traditional and non-traditional recruitment sources to fill positions, while maintaining a pipeline of qualified applicants through regular exploratory interviews to demonstrate proactive recruitment. Counsel and advise employees on career development within Company. Partner with HR team to continually conduct needs analysis of current recruitment methods and proactively identify ways to make these methods cost effective and ensure recruitment is strategic and proactive. Maintain quarterly regular Store Manager conference calls to ensure proactive HR partnership, providing strategic HR counsel and direction as required. Coach and counsel the business on HR policies and procedures. Provide assistance to management with Performance Management and employee-related written documentation as per the Progressive Discipline process. Manage compliance of annual management and non management Performance Management appraisal process Conduct exit interviews and new hire check ins, analyze turnover and coordinate with Manager as needed to resolve employee-related issues. Training & Development - assess and evaluate current programs, make recommendations as appropriate. Benefits & Compensation - Respond to all general compensation and benefits inquires and coordinate with the respective departments when necessary. Ensure that compensation offers are competitive and equitable, internally and externally. Partner with Manager on annual management and non-management merit process for IRIDESSE, ensuring budgets are maintained, information is accurate and appropriate. Spearhead projects from inception to creation that have a direct impact on advancing the business as an employer of choice. Conduct reviews on projects after they have been administered to assess effectiveness. Qualified applicant will posses the following BA/BS degree 3-5 years Human Resources generalist experience and strong job related knowledge. Previous retail recruiting experience. Prior Training (development/delivery) experience. Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills. Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks at once. Strong project leadership skills. Detail oriented. Strong customer service orientation. Self starter, independent worker. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel required. Experience with database mining, Internet research, applicant tracking systems and Peoplesoft preferred.
